Brother and Sister GMs

Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu (often called just “Prag”) is a GM and one of the top 50 players in the world. His older sister, Vaishali is an IM and WGM (soon to be GM), and one of the top 50 female players. That is a lot of chess talent in one family! We have updated this camp in 2024 with some of the latest games from these two great players, who are competing in their respective candidates matches in April 2024.

Beginners will look at key tactical moments and checkmate patterns from the games of Vaishali and Prag. Advanced students will follow the development of both players by studying key games, including Prag’s three wins (in one year!!) against Magnus Carlsen.

Typical schedule for a day:

9:30-9:40 Introductions, chat, get to know each other
9:40-10:10 Lesson
10:10-10:45 Practice games and possibly student game analysis
10:45-11:00 Break
11:00-11:25 Lesson
11:25-12:00 Practice games
